Jakarta, 12 February 2025 – In celebration of the Lunar New Year 2025, Hotel Borobudur Jakarta presents the Cap Go Meh Celebration 2025 with the theme “Night of Harmony” on February 12, 2025, from 15:00 to 21:00. The event will feature a series of cultural, culinary, and entertainment activities across multiple locations, including the Flores Ballroom, Singosari Terrace, Borobudur Backyard, Main Lobby area, and the hotel’s swimming pool. Among the featured attractions is the Tatung Kirab Budaya procession, followed by a Cap Go Meh parade performed by hotel employees, which will circle the entire hotel. The event also includes a cooking demonstration, a Mandarin singing competition by Universitas Negeri Jakarta, calligraphy demonstrations by Bina Bangsa School, dance and music performances from the Confucius Institute, Tamarin Batik Painting by Yayasan Peduli Anak Spesial, Barongsai and Liong Dance performances, Tai Chi by Hakka, traditional Gambang Kromong music by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, and live music. Guests can also enjoy an entertaining interactive quiz.
