The business journey of PT Jakarta International Hotels & Development Tbk (hereinafter referred to as JIHD) began on November 7, 1969.
JIHD’s initial existence was to continue the construction of the Hotel Borobudur Inter-Continental (now known as Hotel Borobudur Jakarta - HBJ) located on Jalan Lapangan Banteng Selatan, Central Jakarta, as well as taking over its ownership from the previous owner PT Perhotelan Banteng Baru.
