JIHD invests in various subsidiaries and associates that have a role to develop and/or manage or execute the telecomunication services and the hospitality management services, with distribution covering Jabodetabek, as well as areas outside the area.
a) Hotels
The hotel business segment is JIHD’s initial business segment. It began with the operation of the Hotel Borobudur Inter-Continental (now Hotel Borobudur Jakarta), a five-star hotel located in the center of Jakarta, which was inaugurated by President Soeharto on March 23, 1974.
JIHD operates The Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place through PT Pacific Place Jakarta (a subsidiary of PT Danayasa Arthatama). The Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place is a five-star hotel integrated with a six storey mall, office buildings and exclusive apartments located at Lot 3 and 5, SCBD.
b) Real Estate
The Real Estate business segment is operated through PT Danayasa Arthatama is known as the company who develop and manage of the ± 50 hectares Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD), located in the golden triangle of Jakarta, between Jalan Jendral Sudirman, Jalan Jendral Gatot Subroto and Semanggi Bridge.
The real estate business segment also includes the management of office buildings. JIHD has a share in PT First Jakarta International as the owner of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Building located at Lot 2, SCBD. The IDX Building has two twin towers with 32 floors each and has been operating commercially since 1995.
One Pacific Place office building integrated with The Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place hotel, Pacific Place Mall and Pacific Place Residence Apartment started operating in 2007. The latest is the operation of the 29-storey Revenue Tower at Lot 13, SCBD, managed by PT Adinusa Puripratama.
c) Telecommunication Services
The telecommunication services business segment is developed by its subsidiary PT Artha Telekomindo which has been established since 1993 as a leading provider of Information and Communication Technology services and solutions that emphasizes innovation, reliability and expertise.
PT Artha Telekomindo has assisted PT Danayasa Arthatama in providing telecommunication facilities and infrastructures (internet services and closed network services) in SCBD.
d) Hotel Management Services
The hospitality management services segment provides management and hospitality services with brand name Discovery Hotels & Resort through subsidiary PT Dharma Harapan Raya, which was established in 1998.
PT Dharma Harapan Raya is responsible for managing the operational activities of Hotel Borobudur Jakarta, Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel, Palace Hotel Cipanas and Discovery Hotel Ancol.
Bahasa
