Hotel Borobudur Jakarta and Artha Graha Peduli Commit to Maintaining Food Stability Through “Pasar Murah” Activities

Jakarta, December 17, 2025 – As the year-end approaches, which is often accompanied by fluctuations in the prices of basic necessities, Hotel Borobudur Jakarta, together with Artha Graha Peduli, continues to demonstrate its commitment to social care by continuing the Artha Graha Peduli 2025 Pasar Murah Program, which has been running simultaneously since December 11, 2025. This activity is an ongoing effort to help people meet their basic needs at more affordable prices ahead of the year-end and New Year holidays. The implementation of this program is part of the company’s social responsibility in providing a real impact on the community.

Artha Graha Peduli is distributing hundreds of thousands of subsidized basic food packages nationwide through the business units of Artha Graha Group and the Artha Graha Network at 800 locations across various regions of Indonesia. This initiative aims to help maintain the public’s purchasing power amid the potential rise in food prices and increasing economic pressure on households.

As a social foundation that consistently implements the Pasar Murah (affordable market) program in many regions, Artha Graha Peduli continues to play an active role in supporting efforts to stabilize national food prices while expanding public access to essential goods at more affordable prices. This program is designed not only to ease the burden on communities but also to support government policies aimed at maintaining national food price stability.

As part of the Artha Graha Peduli initiative, Hotel Borobudur Jakarta has prepared affordable, high-quality basic food packages. Each package contains essential daily necessities designed to help meet the fundamental needs of households. These packages will be distributed at various locations, particularly in Central Jakarta around Hotel Borobudur Jakarta, so that the community can access this program more widely and evenly.

“Pasar Murah is a tangible expression of our commitment and care, not only as a hotel but also as part of Artha Graha Peduli and the Artha Graha Network, which consistently place the community as a priority,” said Karina Eva Poetry, Director of Marketing Communication at Hotel Borobudur Jakarta. “We continue to carry out this initiative, and we hope that the program will help ease the burden on the community, especially in facing the potential increase in food prices.”

During the implementation of the program in RW 05 Kramat, Sabrina Pratiwi Maheswari, Acting Executive Housekeeper of Hotel Borobudur Jakarta, who served as the person in charge (PIC) on site, explained that her involvement went beyond simply ensuring that the distribution was carried out in an orderly manner and reached the intended recipients.

We came directly to meet the residents, not only to distribute the basic food packages but also to listen to their stories, understand their daily circumstances, and interact with them more closely. It was truly moving to see how such simple assistance can mean so much to them. The enthusiasm of the residents and the warm welcome we received made us even more confident that this program is truly creating a meaningful impact,” she said. One of the recipients of the food package, Mrs. Oom, also expressed her gratitude. Thank you to Artha Graha Peduli for helping me. Thank you very much, Sir and Madam. I am truly grateful to Artha Graha Peduli.“

Hotel Borobudur Jakarta, as part of a network that upholds strong social responsibility values, continues to play an active role in delivering sustainable programs that create meaningful impact for the community. The implementation of the Pasar Murah Artha Graha Peduli 2025 is expected to reach more families in Central Jakarta, while helping to reduce the impact of rising basic commodity prices and support the stability of household economies.
